Ministry Update:

My time with the First Mennonite Community in Kelowna began in mid-January and was an opportunity I did not see coming, but when I peeked through the open door, I saw an opportunity to serve in a way that seemed to fit how God has gifted me.  I saw a small group of people who were committed to loving and supporting each other, and committed to gathering together, whatever that might look like.  It was my desire to make the Sunday morning gathering feel as much like a worship experience as possible; with prayer, teaching and singing.  At this point we have been blessed with a number of people who are willing to come and lead in songs of worship and praise, and this has been an answer to prayer.  When I think about the Northwood Regency Retirement Resort in whose theatre we meet, my hope and prayer is that others in the building would consider joining us on Sunday mornings and experience the love of God's people and the beauty and peace of His presence.
